The Dumbest Weight Loss Products

By Kenneth Strum

There are a wide variety of weight loss items out there these days. Some of those products really are built to help you lose weight. There are plenty of other products, however, that look thought up for no other purpose than making a bunch of money off of people who are feeling desperate. Some of these products are so far fetched that we chose to discuss them in this article so that you will know that you shouldn't fall for the promises their marketing make.

Have you happened over the weight reduction ring yet? This is a silver band that coils all around your index finger several times. The concept behind this ring is that it places enough pressure on the pressure points that are designed to help you lose weight. Science has shown that there are a few pressure points in the system that, when touched, really can be used to help you feel better. Seabands, for one illustration, were designed to hold pressure on the points that control feelings of motion sickness. The thought that a tiny ring has the ability to help you lose weight (actively is the key here, as decoration it probably works okay) is just dumb.

Have you discovered the neck line slimmer? This is a item that is imagined to help you firm up the muscles in your neck so that you won't have any lose or hanging skin. It lets you do this through the utilization of vibration. Any doctor worth his co-pay will tell you that when you have a bunch of extra skin hanging from your face or your neck, the skin has already been stretched out and is unlikely, even if your neck muscles strengthen, to shrink back up into the firm skin of your youth. If you are concerned about the skin on your neck, talk to your doctor.

Do you know what exactly the Belly Burner Weight Loss Belt is? This is a heated belt that is designed to enable you to literally melt the pounds away by doing nothing else beyond wearing the belt. According to the marketing materials, this belt operates by activating your core which then makes your weight fall off...how? We cannot definitely figure that element out. Though we are able to tell you that while sweating can certainly burn a few calories, there is no guarantee that they will only be burned from the area covered by the belt. A speedy consult with your doctor should verify that this solution isnt meant to do anything more than get your money.

The genuine truth is that there are plenty of people that only want to take your money from you. They know that you feel vulnerable about your weight and that you are eager to lose it and they victimize that vulnerability and desperation. A lot of people want absolutely nothing more than to shed weight but don't want to do the work that it takes to get them there. More folks would probably benefit from the process if it were easy. Losing excess weight, typically, is actually hard. There just isn't any magic pill, accessory or piece of clothing that will do your work for you.
